The MedPAN Network
The network of Marine Protected Areas (MPA) managers in the Mediterranean, MedPAN, promotes MPA management effectiveness and healthy marine ecosystems in the Mediterranean through information, experience sharing and MPA financial support and as the voice of MPA managers to support policies and engage with other stakeholders.
MedPAN aims at setting-up a “Fundraising Task Force”, recruiting a development officer (the current job offer), applying for EU funds with support of consultants, leading some targeted fundraising communication actions.
In terms of financial and governance sustainability, MedPAN aims at completing the risk reserve created in 2020, leading a feasibility assessment for a new endowment fund, reviewing the governance structure of MedPAN.
